Your mission

You will be at the forefront of developing control architecture and process automation solutions for our cutting-edge production systems. Your role is pivotal in the on-site assembly and commissioning processes. Collaborating closely with our talented experts in mechanical design, software, and application development, you will also engage directly with our esteemed multinational customers. Your tasks

Conceptualize and create the control logic of our automated production systems for efficient and safe operation
Program machines, both offline and online, set up control equipment, integrate drives, actuators, sensors etc. and facilitate potential machine extensions
Define and dimension the necessary electrical and electronic components for control cabinets, functional modules, and entire production cells
Coordinate and execute the commissioning of our systems with suppliers and on-site at customers' facilities
Ideate and implement innovative technology approaches within our R&D programs
Organize and manage the procurement of core components from our global suppliers
Develop and conduct technical training sessions for operators and maintenance staff

Your profile

University degree in electrical/electronic engineering, mechatronics or related field
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in production automation and machine vision
Experience in PLC & HMI programming in SIEMENS TIA Portal – as well as knowledge in industrial robot programming & operation
Experience in assembly and commissioning of automation systems and in machine safety
Experience in operating KUKA robots is an advantage
Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus
Team spirit, a healthy balance of creativity & accuracy, and a strong sense of responsibility
Willingness to travel worldwide (~15%)
